Hall hire

Need some space to celebrate a birthday? Looking for a place to hold a regular meeting or class? Trying to find a hall for indoor sports? You could hire the hall at St Patrick's church, either as a one-off or for a regular slot.

  • The Lounge has a capacity of 35 people seated, with sofas, chairs, and small tables available. Cost: £15 per hour (or part of an hour).

  • The Main Hall has a capacity of 120 people; chairs and tables are available (stacked and folded in a cupboard off the hall), and the room has a sprung wooden floor with marked tramlines suitable for indoor sports with soft balls. Cost: £25 per hour (or part of an hour).

You will also have access to kitchen, foyer, toilets, and car park (note these are shared facilities if both spaces are used by different groups at the same time). The kitchen includes some crockery and cutlery for general use. Some other straightforward conditions apply to the use of the premises.

You can hire both spaces at once (just add together the separate costs). A deposit of £50 is taken at the time of booking, in the form of a cheque, which will be destroyed once the hall has been inspected after your hire has finished. Lighting, heating, and other utilities are included in the cost. Discounts are available for regular hires.

Note the hall is never available for hire on Sundays.

Regular weekly bookings may be possible, if the hall is available, and in that case separate rates may apply. During school holidays you will receive an automated reply saying that the office is closed, but do not worry, your enquiry will still be processed.
